Telephone and computer exports has increased billions of US dollars

As reported by the General Department of Vietnam Customs, among 50 major export commodity groups in the country, there have been 3 commodity groups with an export value increased by US$1 billion or more compared to the same period of 2016.

According to the latest statistics from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, until the end of June 15th, 2017, the total export turnover of telephone and components reached US$ 18.024 billion, and continues to be the leading export commodity group in the country, and increased to over US$ 2.4 billion over the same period of 2016.

However, in terms of the increase, the telephone does not rank No. 1. This place belongs to the group of computers, electronic products and components with an increase of more than US $ 3.1 billion, reaching US $ 10.28 billion.

In terms of the growth, computers, electronics and components or telephone and components are not the categories with the largest increase, because the highest growth is coal with a value of more than 330% compared to the same period last year.

But in terms of the increase, these two commodity groups and machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts increased US$ 1 billion or more (machinery and equipment, tools and spare parts increased by nearly US$ 1.44 billion).

Meanwhile, Textiles and garments increased only US$ 850 million compared to the same period in 2016; and Footwear increased US $ 677 million.
